Claude Enterprise alternatives compared (2026)
Keep Claude and skip the single-vendor contract. Six alternatives side by side on seat minimum, contract, price, EU hosting, audit log and model choice, taken from each vendor's own pages in September 2026.
What is the best alternative to Claude Enterprise?
The main Claude Enterprise alternatives in 2026 are Harriet, ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Gemini Enterprise, GoSearch and WorkLLM. They fall into two groups. ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Gemini Enterprise are each bought inside one large vendor's platform, the way Claude Enterprise is bought from Anthropic. Harriet, GoSearch and WorkLLM work across model vendors. Harriet is the independent alternative for companies that want to keep Claude without committing the whole company to Anthropic. It has no seat minimum and no annual commitment, runs Claude alongside ChatGPT, Gemini and open models, offers EU data residency, caps spend per team and per user, and logs every prompt, model and tool call. Claude Enterprise, for comparison, costs $20 a seat a month billed annually plus usage at API rates, starts at 20 seats, and Anthropic states that its data is stored in the US.

Claude Enterprise alternatives side by side
Every competitor fact is from that vendor's own pricing, product or help pages, checked September 28, 2026. Where a vendor does not publish something, the table says so.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Harriet | None | Monthly plans, no annual commitment | Not published, quoted per organization for the people provisioned | EU data residency available | Every prompt, model and tool call, exportable | Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and open models |
| Claude Enterprise | 20 self-serve, 50 sales-assisted | Annual | $20 a seat a month, plus usage at API rates | Not published. Anthropic states data is stored in the US | Yes | Anthropic's Claude models |

Prices are as each vendor shows them, before usage, tax or required base licenses. GoSearch and WorkLLM show prices in $ without naming a currency. Model usage costs apply on every option.
At Anthropic's published rate, a 20-person team pays $400 a month in Claude Enterprise seat fees before any usage, for all 20 seats whether or not everyone uses Claude.
How each alternative compares
What each option is best at, in the vendor's own terms, and where it stops.
Harriet
The independent alternative for companies that want to keep Claude without committing the whole company to one vendor.
It has no seat minimum and no annual commitment, and runs Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and open models under one policy.
EU data residency, hard budget caps per team and per user, and hands-on help building the first workflows come with it.
ChatGPT Enterprise
The same shape as Claude Enterprise from a different vendor.
OpenAI does not publish the price or a seat minimum, sells Enterprise on annual plans, and lists only its own models.
Its clearest advantage over Claude Enterprise is data residency, because new Enterprise workspaces can keep content at rest in Europe.
Microsoft 365 Copilot
The natural pick if the company already runs on Microsoft 365, because Copilot is an add-on to a qualifying plan.
It lists at $30 a user a month on an annual subscription and offers OpenAI and Anthropic models.
In the EU, Microsoft states that Anthropic models sit outside the EU Data Boundary and are off by default for EU and UK tenants.
Gemini Enterprise
Google's answer, and the most flexible of the big-vendor plans on commitment.
It starts at one seat, from $30 a seat a month, with monthly or annual subscriptions and EU data at rest.
Google's pages describe it with Gemini models, so it is a Google choice rather than a multi-vendor one.
GoSearch
A multi-model workspace that lets admins pick default models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, or bring their own.
The Pro plan lists at $20 a user a month, and Enterprise is quoted.
Its pages do not publish a seat minimum, a contract term or an EU hosting location.
WorkLLM
A multi-model AI workspace covering ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Mistral and more.
Basic lists at $20 a user a month, or $18 billed annually, with no user cap on paid plans.
It can run in its cloud, your private cloud or on-premise, and its pages do not name an EU hosting region.

How to roll out AI across a companyHow to choose a Claude Enterprise alternative
Five questions that cut the shortlist to one or two.
- Do you want one vendor or several? If the whole company should standardize on one lab for years, buy that lab's enterprise plan. If you want to keep Claude and still use ChatGPT, Gemini or open models, you need a layer that works across vendors.
- Where must your data live? If EU data residency is a requirement, check the vendor's own residency page for the exact product you are buying, not the vendor in general.
- How many people need it on day one? Seat minimums decide the entry price. A 20-seat floor on an annual contract is a commitment before you know who will use it.
- Who controls the bill? Per-seat plans with usage on top move with the busiest users. Look for hard caps per team and per user, not only alerts.
- Who makes the rollout work? A license gives people access. Someone still has to build the first workflows with each team and hand them over.
Switching from Claude Team or Claude Enterprise
Moving to Harriet does not mean giving up Claude.
It means Claude becomes one of the models your teams can use, under one policy, with the bill capped per team.
- 01
Keep your Anthropic account
Bring your own Anthropic keys and keep any committed-spend deal you already have, or move to managed credits for one invoice.
- 02
Map teams to models
Decide which teams keep Claude as their default and which do everyday work on faster, cheaper models, with a monthly budget next to each team.
- 03
Provision through identity and devices
Connect your identity provider and push the desktop app through the device management you already run, so people open their laptop and Harriet is there.
- 04
Watch two weeks, then adjust
Look for teams with low adoption and teams with high spend, and change their model mix or caps per team without redeploying anything.
When Claude Enterprise is the right call
The cases where buying direct from Anthropic beats routing through us.
Claude Enterprise pricing explained- You need Anthropic's deepest compliance surface, such as customer-managed keys, their Compliance API or HIPAA.
- You are large enough that custom terms with Anthropic matter more than flexibility across providers.
- Even then, some companies run Harriet for the workforce and keep a direct Anthropic contract for the teams that need it.
Questions we get asked
What are the best Claude Enterprise alternatives in 2026?
The alternatives buyers weigh most are Harriet, ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Gemini Enterprise, GoSearch and WorkLLM. ChatGPT Enterprise, Copilot and Gemini Enterprise each come from one large vendor. Harriet, GoSearch and WorkLLM work across model vendors. Harriet is the one built to keep Claude for everyone, with no seat minimum, EU data residency, spend caps per team and hands-on help with the rollout.
What should a Claude Enterprise alternative include?
At minimum, the controls you would buy Claude Enterprise for. That means single sign-on and automatic provisioning, an audit log you can export, admin control over which models each team uses, and a clear answer on where data is stored. Beyond that, look for spend caps that stop overspend rather than report it, the freedom to change models without a migration, and someone who will help your teams get their first workflows working.
Is Harriet a replacement for Claude Enterprise?
For most mid-sized companies, yes. Both give every employee an assistant with SSO, admin controls and no training on your data. Claude Enterprise manages Claude. Harriet manages Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and open models from one place, with per-team policies, budget caps and audit logs. Anthropic's own compliance surface, such as customer-managed keys, lives only inside Claude Enterprise.
Do employees still get Claude models with Harriet?
Yes. Claude runs alongside ChatGPT, Gemini and open models through one router, on your own Anthropic keys or on managed credits. Admins decide which teams get which models.
Does Claude Enterprise offer EU data residency?
Anthropic's privacy page states that data is stored in the US, as of September 2026. Anthropic lists Europe residency for Claude on AWS Bedrock, Google Cloud Vertex and Microsoft Foundry, which are cloud platforms rather than the Claude Enterprise app. Harriet offers EU data residency and keeps Claude available alongside the other models.
Which Claude Enterprise alternative has no seat minimum?
Harriet has no seat minimum. Gemini Enterprise starts at one seat, and WorkLLM publishes no minimum on its paid plans. OpenAI and Microsoft do not publish a seat minimum for ChatGPT Enterprise or Microsoft 365 Copilot. Claude Enterprise starts at 20 seats self-serve and 50 through sales.
How does Harriet pricing compare to Claude Enterprise pricing?
Claude Enterprise charges $20 a seat a month, billed annually, with a 20-seat self-serve minimum, and model usage billed on top (as of September 2026). Harriet has no seat minimum and no annual commitment. Pricing is quoted per organization for the people actually provisioned, plus model usage through your own keys or managed credits.
Why not just buy Claude Team instead?
Claude Team suits a small group that only wants Claude, from 2 seats at $20 to $25 a seat. It leaves out audit logs, SCIM provisioning and data retention controls, caps at 150 seats, and governs only Claude. Harriet adds that governance across every provider at once.
How is this different from ChatGPT Enterprise?
Same shape, different vendor. ChatGPT Enterprise gives you OpenAI models with enterprise controls on annual plans, and OpenAI does not publish its price. Its console governs only OpenAI. Harriet is the layer above both, one place to provision, budget and audit AI across vendors.
Is Microsoft 365 Copilot a Claude Enterprise alternative?
It can be, if your company already runs on Microsoft 365. Copilot is a $30 a user a month add-on to a qualifying Microsoft 365 plan, on an annual subscription, and it offers OpenAI and Anthropic models. Microsoft states that Anthropic models are outside the EU Data Boundary and off by default for EU and UK tenants, so check that before you count on Claude there.
Can we keep our existing Anthropic contract?
Yes. Harriet runs on your own Anthropic keys, so any committed-spend deal you already have keeps working, and Claude stays available to the teams that use it. You can also use managed credits instead, for one invoice across every model.
Is Harriet affiliated with Anthropic?
No. Harriet is an independent London-based platform, SOC 2 Type II certified with EU data residency available. Claude and Claude Enterprise are Anthropic products, ChatGPT is OpenAI's, Copilot is Microsoft's and Gemini is Google's.
